A 39-year-old man from Lawton was arrested early Friday morning after a short police pursuit in Van Buren County, Michigan. The incident began around 4:25 a.m. when deputies responded to a report of an occupied vehicle parked in the travel lane of C.R. 352, near the intersection with C.R. 669 in Decatur Township.

The suspect was apprehended without further incident and taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. Following his check-up, he was arrested on charges of Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) and Fleeing and Eluding. He was later taken to the Van Buren County Jail.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
