Former President Donald Trump praised his youngest son, Barron Trump, calling him a “smart guy” with a strong talent for technology. The night before Barron’s 19th birthday, Trump spoke to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and shared his admiration for his son’s abilities, especially in the digital world.
“He has an incredible aptitude for technology,” Trump said when asked whether Barron is more interested in politics or business. “Barron is a very smart guy.”
Barron, who turned 19 on Thursday, is currently a freshman at New York University’s Stern School of Business. His father believes he has a bright future ahead, following in the footsteps of the Trump family’s business legacy.
During the interview, Trump also spoke about his other children—Eric, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Tiffany—expressing pride in their intelligence, hard work, and dedication to their country. He noted that all five of his children attended prestigious colleges and have successful careers.
“I consider myself lucky,” Trump said. “They’re smart, they work hard, and they love our country. They’re also proud of their father, and we have a great relationship.”
In recent months, Barron has started making a name for himself in the business world. He has reportedly played a key role in advising his father on how to connect with younger voters, particularly through popular podcasts.
After graduating from Oxbridge Academy in Florida last year, Barron set his sights on a career in real estate. In July 2024, he co-founded Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc. in Wyoming. The company focuses on luxury real estate projects, including high-end properties and golf courses in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. Reports suggest the business will officially relaunch in spring 2025, with Mar-a-Lago as its headquarters.
Trump remains proud of his son’s achievements and his growing interest in the family business. As Barron steps into the world of real estate, he is expected to continue the Trump legacy with his entrepreneurial spirit.
