Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are officially engaged, and fans couldn’t be happier!
The 32-year-old singer and actress shared the exciting news on Instagram on December 11 with a carousel of photos, including a close-up of her stunning engagement ring and a sweet shot of the couple hugging and laughing. She captioned the post, “forever begins now..” Benny didn’t miss a beat, commenting, “hey wait… that’s my wife.”
Selena also gave fans an extra look at her sparkly new ring with a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories, clearly over the moon about this next chapter with Benny, 36.
The two have a long history that goes beyond romance. They first collaborated on the 2019 hit single “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin. But sparks didn’t start flying until June 2023, when they officially began dating. Selena confirmed their relationship in December of that year by interacting with fan posts and even leaving a heartfelt comment calling Benny her “absolute everything.”
By January 2024, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Emmys, and their love story has been unfolding publicly ever since. Benny opened up about their bond during a May interview with Howard Stern, describing Selena as his ultimate partner. “When I look at her… I just don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” he shared.
Selena has also been candid about how safe and supported she feels with Benny. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, she reflected on their relationship, saying, “It’s so important to have someone who respects you and understands your world.
