Paris Hilton’s former fiancé, Chris Zylka, found himself in a wild and frightening situation with police officers last week. According to local media, it all started around 4:45 p.m. on December 4 in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. The Warren Police Department received a report about a man wearing pajama pants and no shoes or shirt, who seemed to be trying to get into a car with a gun.
When officers arrived, they discovered it was Chris Zylka, a model and actor originally from Ohio. He wasn’t simply standing around—he was reportedly jumping into traffic right in the middle of an intersection. At one point, he even tried to break into a woman’s car through its window. The scene was tense and dangerous.
As the officers approached him, Zylka pointed a cell phone at them and began to foam at the mouth, which made it seem like he might be under the influence of drugs. Even after officers got him down to his knees, he kept struggling and fighting. In the chaos, one of the officers accidentally tased a detective instead of Zylka.
After that, the detective who had been tased fired his own taser at Zylka’s leg twice, but it didn’t seem to slow the actor down. It took a third detective to finally get control of him and put him in handcuffs. Once he was subdued, Zylka could be seen with a bloody nose and acting confused as paramedics strapped him onto a gurney and took him away in an ambulance.
Now, Zylka faces several serious charges: felony assault and attempt to commit an offense, along with misdemeanor charges like disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and aggravated menacing. Although he’s no longer in police custody, media reports say there’s now a warrant out for his arrest, according to court documents. The Warren Police Department hasn’t given more details about the situation.
Zylka isn’t just known for his run-in with the law. He grew up in Ohio and started his career appearing in popular TV shows like “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Hannah Montana.” Later, he moved on to movies such as “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Shark Night.” Many people first learned his name when he got engaged to media personality Paris Hilton in January 2018, though they ended their engagement less than a year later.
