A TikToker known as Wolfie Kahletti, famous for calling himself a “troll” and “supreme villain,” is now in serious trouble with the law. Charles Smith, the man behind the account with over 14 million likes and 300,000 followers, is facing criminal charges in Arizona after a so-called prank went way too far.
Smith, 27, decided it would be a good idea to use a can of Hot Shot Ultra Bed Bug spray—a pesticide—to film a prank video inside a Walmart in Mesa. According to the police, he sprayed the pesticide on fresh produce, fruit, and even rotisserie chickens, all while recording himself. The incident happened on December 19 at the Walmart located at 1955 S. Stapley Drive.
In his video, Smith showed his face, the can of pesticide, and the actual spraying, making it easy for police to identify him. He later posted the video on his TikTok account, though he reportedly deleted it afterward. Despite his attempts to remove the evidence, the damage was done.
In the video, Smith is seen entering the Walmart and carrying out his prank alone. He sprays lemons, yams, and other produce with the pesticide. At one point, he even added captions like “Fooled u” and “Promise I threw them away,” trying to justify his actions by showing himself discarding the food afterward.
Walmart staff confirmed that the contaminated produce was indeed thrown away and the affected areas were cleaned and sanitized. The Mesa Police Department, with help from the Tempe Police Department, managed to track Smith down. He voluntarily turned himself in after police contacted him. During questioning, Smith admitted to the theft and spraying the pesticide.
Smith has been charged with a felony count of introducing poison and several misdemeanors, including criminal damage, endangerment, and theft. This prank is now no laughing matter.
Smith’s TikTok page, where he describes himself as a “tycoon creator” and “supreme villain,” is filled with videos that have racked up millions of likes. Police say he openly called himself a “troll” during interviews. But this time, his antics crossed a dangerous line, putting public health and safety at risk.
As of now, the consequences for his actions remain to be seen, but the incident serves as a stark reminder that online fame doesn’t excuse reckless behavior.
