TEXAS — Lottery officials confirmed that a Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Texas during Saturday night’s drawing.
The drawing took place on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025. The winning numbers were 5, 20, 34, 39, and 62, with the Powerball number 1. The Power Play option was set at 2x.
According to officials, the Texas ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball number, securing the $100,000 prize. Officials did not immediately release details about where the ticket was sold or the identity of the winner.
The estimated jackpot for the Dec. 27 drawing stood at $21 million, with a cash value of about $9.7 million. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot will roll over to the next drawing.
Powerball drawings take place three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. Lottery officials remind players to carefully check their tickets and sign the back of any winning ticket.
