A quiet Sunday night in Chicago’s South Loop turned tragic when two men were attacked in a shocking double stabbing. Here’s what we know:
The incident happened around 8:50 p.m. on the 1500 block of South Wabash Avenue.
One of the victims, a 50-year-old man, was found with cuts on his arm and injuries to his head. He was quickly treated by paramedics on the scene before being rushed to Northwestern Hospital. Thankfully, he’s still hanging in there, though his condition remains serious.
The second victim, a man in his 40s, was found at the same spot, but sadly, he wasn’t as fortunate. He had suffered multiple stab wounds and was unresponsive when help arrived. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away right there at the scene.
So far, no arrests have been made, and the police are working hard to get to the bottom of this awful situation.
