In Tarpon Springs, Florida, a tragic shooting took place Monday evening, leaving one person dead.
The incident happened on Starlight Cove, in the 1300 block, at around 8 p.m., according to the Tarpon Springs Police Department.
When officers arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the shooting, they found a person who was unresponsive.
Officers immediately started giving first aid, and emergency medical services rushed the victim to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
Sadly, the individual passed away from their injuries.
As of now, the suspect involved in the shooting has not been caught.
The police haven’t shared the victim’s name or any details about what might have led to the shooting. The investigation is still in its early stages.
