A shooting at a car dealership in Chicago’s Lawn neighborhood left two people injured on Thursday evening.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. at a business located in the 7300 block of South Western Avenue. According to Chicago police, a gunman entered the dealership, fired several shots, and then quickly fled the scene.
Victims Taken to Hospital
A 20-year-old man was shot multiple times and was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Doctors said he was in fair condition.
A 50-year-old woman was also injured but only suffered a graze wound on her arm. She was treated at the same hospital and was in good condition.
Investigation Underway
Chicago police officers and Area 1 detectives are actively investigating the shooting. So far, no arrests have been made, and authorities are working to determine the motive behind the attack.
