Two travelers were arrested at Miami International Airport after a heated altercation with airline staff. The pair, a man and a woman, arrived late for their flight to Mexico on Sunday and became furious when they were denied boarding.

Their anger quickly escalated, leading to a physical confrontation. Witnesses say the passengers argued with airline employees and even threw coffee at one of the staff members in frustration. Security and police were called to handle the situation.

Videos shared on social media captured the intense scene. In the footage, police officers are seen tackling the male passenger to the ground and restraining him. The female passenger was also detained, forced to sit nearby as authorities took control of the situation.

Officials have not yet released the names of the two passengers or confirmed whether they will face formal charges.

This shocking airport disturbance comes shortly after another dramatic incident involving a FedEx cargo plane at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing after suffering an engine fire caused by a bird strike.

According to reports, the Boeing 767 took off from Newark but experienced engine failure just minutes later. The pilots acted swiftly, declaring an emergency and successfully landing back at the airport within nine minutes.

Videos shared online showed the FedEx plane flying low with its right engine engulfed in flames. One witness described hearing a loud explosion as the aircraft descended.

Thankfully, there were no injuries reported. Emergency response teams quickly arrived on the scene, with around ten fire trucks working to extinguish the fire. The airport later confirmed that the blaze was caused by a bird colliding with the engine shortly after takeoff.

Aviation experts have praised the pilots for their calm and professional handling of the emergency. Their quick thinking helped prevent a potentially disastrous situation.

Both incidents highlight the unexpected challenges that can arise during air travel. While delays and cancellations can be frustrating, aggressive behavior toward airline staff is never the solution. Likewise, pilots and flight crews must always be prepared for emergencies, ensuring passenger safety remains the top priority.

Travelers are reminded to arrive at the airport on time, remain patient, and follow airline policies to avoid unnecessary conflicts. As for the FedEx incident, it serves as another reminder of how unpredictable flying can be, but also how well-trained aviation professionals are in handling these situations.
