Four women suing social media influencer Andrew Tate have spoken out after learning about his connection to a tragic triple murder involving a crossbow.

Their lawyers are deeply concerned that Tate’s content, which they describe as misogynistic, could encourage more violent incidents if he continues to have a platform.

This follows the case of Kyle Clifford, 26, who searched for Tate’s podcasts just a day before he brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend Louise Hunt, her mother Carol, and her sister Hannah. Prosecutors claim that Tate’s extreme views on women played a role in influencing Clifford’s violent attack.

Concerns Over Tate’s Influence

Attorney Jennifer Sayles, who represents the women suing Tate, believes his content is dangerous and promotes violence against women.

“We must remove Tate’s hateful and sexist content from social media,” she said. “If action isn’t taken against him, I fear more tragedies will happen. The fact that Kyle Clifford was watching Tate’s videos before attacking his ex-girlfriend and her family shows the reality of rising online misogyny.”

The four British women suing Tate claim he subjected them to rape, coercive control, and physical violence, including choking them so hard that blood vessels in their eyes burst. These alleged incidents happened between 2013 and 2016, before Tate became widely known as an influencer. He has denied all accusations.

Calls to Ban Tate from Social Media

In a statement through McCue Jury & Partners, the women called on social media platforms to ban Tate permanently.

“Hearing that Clifford watched Tate’s videos before committing these murders is heartbreaking but not surprising. Social media companies must stop profiting from his content and remove him immediately,” they said.

The Clifford Murder Case

Clifford was recently found guilty of raping and murdering Louise Hunt, 25, at her family home in Bushey, Hertfordshire. He bound and gagged her before using a crossbow to kill her. Later, when her sister Hannah returned home from work, he killed her with the same weapon. Their mother, Carol, was stabbed to death with a 10-inch butcher knife.

Before his attack, Clifford allegedly told someone that he had been watching Tate’s content online. Police later found several Tate videos on his phone. Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC stated that Clifford’s misogynistic mindset was evident, but the judge ruled out Tate’s influence as official evidence in court.

Despite facing rape and human trafficking charges, Tate recently traveled to Florida from Romania with his brother, Tristan Tate. He still has a massive following, with 10 million followers on X (formerly Twitter).
