In Berlin, Vermont, police made an arrest on Sunday morning after spotting a stolen car on Berlin Mall Road, right in front of the Berlin Mall.
Officers pulled the vehicle over around 9:45 a.m. and found Darrell Dixon, a 47-year-old man from Barre, behind the wheel.
It turned out that Dixon shouldn’t have been driving at all—his license was criminally suspended. To make matters worse, the car he was driving didn’t belong to him, and he didn’t have permission to use it.
Police say Dixon is now facing multiple charges, including driving without the owner’s consent, operating with a criminally suspended license, and criminal trespass.
Dixon is scheduled to appear in Washington District Court on March 6 to answer to these charges.
