Gwinnett County, Georgia – Police in Gwinnett County are searching for two men accused of stealing cartons of cigarettes from a gas station on Buford Drive. The incident happened around 9 p.m. on December 9 at a RaceTrac store.
According to investigators, the theft was well-planned. One of the men slipped into the employee area of the store and managed to cut the lock on the cigarette cage. Within moments, the two men were off, driving away in a black Dodge Durango loaded with multiple cartons of cigarettes.
Authorities believe these men might be behind similar crimes in other areas, including Athens, Ellenwood, and Snellville. They seem to have a pattern of targeting gas stations and convenience stores.
