A shooting in South Portland late Sunday night left a neighborhood shaken but thankfully no one injured. Police are now investigating the incident, which happened in the Redbank Village area just after 11 p.m.
According to the South Portland Police Department, officers responded to multiple calls about gunshots ringing out in the area. When they arrived at 98 Wainwright Circle West, they found that several bullets had hit the front door of an apartment and lodged in the living room wall.
On the street outside the home, officers discovered several shell casings.
The good news is that no one was hurt, but as of Monday evening, no arrests had been made. Investigators are on the lookout for a suspect vehicle described as a light-colored, four-door hatchback.
