Two suspects involved in an armed robbery in Humboldt Park were arrested on Monday after a police chase that extended into the south suburbs.
The incident happened around 1:43 p.m. when a delivery driver was robbed by two men in the 800 block of North Spaulding Avenue, according to police. After taking the driver’s belongings, the suspects fled the scene in a stolen Infiniti.
During their escape, one of the suspects fired a gun at a residence near the intersection of East 74th Street and South Saint Lawrence Avenue. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
