In Raleigh, North Carolina, two men found themselves in hot water on Christmas Eve after a bold and unusual stunt. The duo, Jason McClure, 51, and Jorge Chacon, 37, were arrested in the early hours of the morning for climbing a construction crane in downtown Raleigh and parachuting off it.

According to the police, the men made their way up the crane at around 2 a.m. The crane is part of the construction site for the new City Hall. Officers spotted the pair high up on the machinery, and before they could intervene, the men leaped off and parachuted down. They landed safely on the top level of the City Hall parking deck on West Hargett Street, where police were waiting.

Thankfully, neither McClure nor Chacon was hurt during the stunt. However, their adventure quickly came to an end when officers took them into custody. Both men were charged with first-degree trespassing and resisting a public officer.

After their arrest, McClure and Chacon were taken to jail. Later on Christmas Eve, they posted a $2,000 secured bond and were released.
