Houston police are investigating a tragic incident involving a teenage boy who lost his life outside a Christmas party in southwest Houston. The heartbreaking event unfolded around 10 p.m. at an apartment complex on Burdine Street, near North Braeswood Boulevard in the Meyerland neighborhood.
Emergency responders were first called to the scene for what was initially reported as a medical emergency. However, when paramedics arrived, they discovered a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his head. Realizing the severity of the situation, they quickly notified the Houston Police Department.
Sgt. Ali, speaking about the case, mentioned that investigators currently have very little information about how the teenager ended up being shot. What they do know is that the boy didn’t live in the apartment complex but was attending a Christmas party there. At some point, he stepped outside and never came back.
