Elon Musk has announced that he will be stepping away from social media for a few days after shocking allegations surfaced. Ashley St Clair, a well-known MAGA influencer, claimed on Musk’s platform, X, that he is the father of her five-month-old baby.
St Clair made the surprising revelation on Valentine’s Day, writing, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.” Musk has neither confirmed nor denied the claim, but he briefly reacted to an X post suggesting that St Clair had been planning this revelation for a long time. His response? A simple, “Whoah.”
St Clair was not happy with Musk’s vague response. In a now-deleted reply, she accused him of ignoring her attempts to communicate. She wrote, “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days, and you have not responded.”
Despite the online controversy, Musk made it clear that he would not be engaging further. Instead, he announced that he would be offline for the weekend to work on Grok 3, his latest AI project, which he described as “the smartest AI on Earth.”
St Clair’s Emotional Statement
In her Valentine’s Day post, St Clair explained that she had kept quiet about Musk’s alleged paternity to protect their child’s privacy. However, she claimed that the media was preparing to expose the story, forcing her to speak out.
“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she said.
She urged the press to respect her child’s privacy and allow them to live a normal life. “I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting,” she pleaded.
A Legal Agreement in the Works?
According to St Clair’s spokesperson, Brian Glicklich, she and Musk have been privately working on an agreement regarding their child’s upbringing. However, aggressive journalism has disrupted their efforts.
“It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially,” Glicklich stated.
He added that St Clair is still waiting for Musk to publicly acknowledge his role as the child’s father. “Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly in the best interests of their child,” he said.
As of now, Musk has not commented further on the situation.
