A man from Kings County, California, is now in police custody after a troubling investigation into allegations of child molestation that started earlier this year. The Kings County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect as 20-year-old Juan Zaragoza Bravo.
The investigation kicked off when the Lemoore Police Department alerted the sheriffs about possible sexual abuse involving a child in their area. As the investigation unfolded, authorities managed to identify and talk to four victims connected to this case.
According to the sheriff’s office, Zaragoza Bravo allegedly reached out to his victims through Instagram, sending them direct messages. He reportedly tried to win their trust by offering drugs and other paraphernalia. Unfortunately, things took a darker turn as he began sending sexually explicit messages, fully aware that the victims were minors.
The situation escalated even further, with authorities claiming that Zaragoza Bravo coerced two of the young victims into engaging in sexual acts with him.
On December 13, police executed an arrest warrant at his home. During the arrest, Zaragoza Bravo admitted to the allegations against him. He has since been booked at the Kings County jail, facing a total of six felony charges and three misdemeanors.
This case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that can lurk online and the importance of safeguarding our children.
