Severe Weather in Other Regions

This storm comes after a series of deadly storms that hit the U.S. last week, resulting in at least 40 deaths. Another system swept through the Southeast on Tuesday, bringing strong winds and increased fire risks in areas already damaged by wildfires and storms. States affected include New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Officials are urging people in storm-affected areas to be cautious, especially while traveling. Power outages, fallen trees, and icy roads could create dangerous conditions. Those living in high-risk zones should prepare for possible disruptions and follow local safety guidelines.

As winter weather continues to linger, residents in the affected seven states should stay prepared for changing conditions and possible additional warnings.
