WESTMORE, Vermont – Police are still searching for a Vermont woman who went missing while hiking in the Westmore area. They’ve confirmed the search efforts will continue through the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.
Sue Mi Ko, a 51-year-old from Craftsbury, was reported missing on Thursday evening. Her family and friends became worried when she didn’t arrive as planned near the Mount Pisgah trailhead in Westmore, a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
Authorities are working hard to find her, but so far, they haven’t found any signs of foul play. They believe this might simply be a case of someone getting lost in the wilderness.
Police are asking anyone who has information or who might have hiked in the Mount Pisgah area over the past week to come forward. If you think you saw Sue Mi Ko or have any details that might help, you can call the Vermont State Police in Derby at 802-334-8881.
As the search continues, Sue’s loved ones and the community remain hopeful for her safe return.
