December 4, 2024—A fatal hit-and-run incident in north Harris County has left a bicyclist dead and authorities searching for the driver responsible.

Incident Details

At approximately 8:40 a.m., a male bicyclist was struck near the intersection of Airtex Boulevard and Brundage Drive. The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim, who was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel.

Vehicle Discovery

Shortly after the incident, deputies located a vehicle believed to be involved in the crash. The car was found abandoned, still running, at Willow Briar Drive and Bayberry Meadows Lane in the Timber Crossing neighborhood.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. The intersection remains closed as the investigation continues, and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
