Jason Kelce has been in the spotlight a lot lately, thanks to his football career, his hit podcast with his brother Travis, and the added buzz around Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift. But if you’re hoping Jason can score you tickets to one of Taylor’s concerts, don’t bother asking.
During a chat on The Rich Eisen Show on November 25, the former Philadelphia Eagles star opened up about how life has been a whirlwind for him and his family recently. Between the success of the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory, and Travis dating one of the world’s biggest music stars, it’s been nonstop excitement.
Host Rich Eisen took the chance to ask a burning question: “Do you turn down more people asking for professional favors or Taylor Swift concert tickets?” Jason laughed, admitting he thankfully doesn’t get bombarded with ticket requests, but when he does, his answer is simple: “It’s an immediate no.”
It’s not that Taylor hasn’t offered. Jason explained that she’s been incredibly generous, telling him she’d take care of anyone he needed tickets for. “She’s been nothing but lovely to our family,” Jason said. But even with her offer, he draws a firm line. “I’m not going to impose. I don’t want to create that dynamic,” he shared.
Eisen joked about Jason shutting down such a golden opportunity, and Jason stood firm. “Where’s the line? Exactly. So I’m staying away from the line,” he said.
Jason’s connection to Taylor isn’t just about tickets, though. He and his wife Kylie are Swifties themselves and have passed that love down to their kids. The couple first saw Taylor’s Eras Tour in London back in June. Then, on October 18, they took their two oldest daughters, Wyatt, 5, and Elliotte, 3, to a show in Miami. A fan even spotted the Kelce family walking around the stadium with Jason’s mom, Donna.
Jason had already revealed how much his daughters love Taylor’s music, especially Elliotte, who has her own favorite line from one of Taylor’s songs. “She’s three years old and says, ‘I’m a real tough kid. I can handle my stuff,’” Jason shared, laughing. “It gets a laugh out of me every time.”
As for the youngest Kelce sibling, 21-month-old Bennett, it seems she missed out on the Miami concert fun. But with another baby girl on the way, the family’s Swiftie squad is only growing.
