Joe Burrow is stepping off the football field and into superhero territory—well, sort of. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback revealed during HBO’s Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North that he’s now the proud owner of a Batmobile. Yes, the Batmobile.
During a practice session, Burrow casually dropped the bombshell to his teammates Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. “Did I tell you I bought a Batmobile?” he asked. “I won’t get it for about a year, but yeah, I bought one.”
This isn’t just any car. Known as The Tumbler, it’s a high-end collectible offered by Wayne Enterprises—a luxury experience inspired by Bruce Wayne himself. Only 10 of these iconic vehicles were made, each with a jaw-dropping price tag of $2.99 million. Naturally, Burrow, one of the NFL’s highest-paid quarterbacks, fits right into the exclusive club of car enthusiasts who could snag one.
The Tumbler is far more than a showpiece. It’s equipped with a 6.2L LS3 engine delivering 525 horsepower, a smoke-screen system, jet engine simulation, and even fake gun turrets. It’s the kind of ride that screams superhero vibes—and Burrow seems ready to embrace the role. He even joked about going all out with an expensive Batsuit to match. “What if I showed up to every game in the full suit, driving the Batmobile? That’d be crazy for Halloween,” he laughed.
Interestingly, the quarterback isn’t much of a Halloween fan. Back in October, he admitted during a press conference that he doesn’t care for dressing up. “I’ve never been a big Halloween guy. I don’t see the point—just dressing up for the sake of it? I don’t get it,” he said. But he couldn’t deny that it’d be pretty awesome to see kids dressed as him someday.
Burrow is no stranger to luxury cars, with a collection that includes a Porsche Taycan Turbo, an Acura NSX, and a Lordstown Endurance Truck (he’s a brand partner). But adding a Batmobile? That’s next-level cool, even for a football superstar.
