Police in Atlanta are on the hunt for a shooter involved in a late-night incident at an apartment complex on Alison Court SW.
It all happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday when officers got a call about a shooting in the 2000 block of Alison Court SW. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the lower back.
Paramedics quickly got him to a nearby hospital, and the good news is he’s expected to pull through.
The man’s girlfriend told officers she was inside their apartment when she heard him come home.
But just as he was walking in, she heard a gunshot. Rushing to check what happened, she found him lying on his back, injured.
Right now, investigators haven’t said who the victim is or why the shooting happened. They’re still working to piece it all together.
