A dramatic turn of events unfolded in Laurel County, Kentucky, when 36-year-old Benjamin Hobson from London was arrested early Friday morning in connection with a shooting that left another man fighting for his life. According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest happened on Payne Trail Road around 1:54 a.m., wrapping up an intense investigation that began late Thursday night.
It all started with a call to the sheriff’s deputies at about 11:45 p.m. on Thursday. Someone reported a man had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found the victim in serious condition, having been shot multiple times in the chest and leg. With his injuries being critical, the victim was quickly flown to the UK Medical Center in Lexington, where he remains under close care.
