Share news:

A serious hit-and-run crash in Bryan County, Oklahoma, on Thursday night ended with one man in jail and another in the hospital.

The accident happened when Mark Proctor, a 63-year-old man from Mead, was allegedly driving under the influence. According to court documents, Proctor’s blood alcohol level was over the legal limit of 0.08 when he caused the crash, which left another person seriously injured.

What makes the situation even worse is that Proctor reportedly left the scene after the crash instead of staying to help or call for assistance. Authorities later caught up with him, and he is now facing some serious charges.

Proctor has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and leaving the scene of an accident involving an injury. If convicted, he could face up to 22 years in prison.
