Montana woman went missing a few weeks ago. Police now claim that a man stuffed her body in a suitcase and disposed of it in a dumpster

Share news:

In a heartbreaking discovery, a missing Montana woman, Alicia Wood, was found dead weeks after she was reported missing. Her body was located inside a suitcase dumped in a trash bin, and a man has been charged in connection with her tragic death.

Alicia, 46, was first reported missing on November 30 when her loved ones hadn’t heard from her in days. Police launched a search for her in her hometown of Conrad and nearby areas, but it was a grim trail that unfolded.

Her car was eventually found abandoned on a highway, and the evidence inside was chilling. Investigators discovered bloodstains and handprints smeared across the interior, as well as a bullet casing on the floor. The signs pointed to a violent confrontation, and suspicions only deepened as the search continued.

On December 10, the search shifted to a landfill in the nearby town of High Plains, and just a day later, 29-year-old William Glenn Olson was taken into custody. Olson had spoken to police earlier, claiming he last saw Alicia weeks prior and didn’t know where she was. However, police later learned Olson had multiple outstanding warrants, including one for domestic assault.

According to court records, Olson admitted during a second interview that he had killed Alicia during an argument at her home. He allegedly placed her in a headlock, causing her death, and then tried to cover up the crime. The documents allege Olson took a suitcase from Alicia’s closet, put her body inside, and drove to Great Falls, where he dumped the suitcase in a dumpster near a school. He also reportedly disposed of his phone.

As of December 12, Alicia’s body still hadn’t been found, but authorities believe her remains may be in the landfill. Crews, including drones and heavy equipment, are continuing the search for her.

Olson now faces charges of deliberate homicide and tampering with evidence. His bond has been set at $1 million. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison for the homicide charge, along with additional penalties for tampering with evidence.

The case has left the small Montana community shaken, and Alicia’s loved ones are grappling with a devastating loss as they await justice for her.
