A Spring family is asking for the public’s help as they search for answers in the death of a Klein Collins High School student.
Officials said 18-year-old Michael Spivey was found dead in his bedroom the day after Christmas.
Harris County investigators are still awaiting the results of an autopsy.
“You have to protect your babies,” his mother, Vanessa Garcia, said. “Not even in their own room, they’re safe.”
Garcia said there were no signs of a struggle or forced entry at the home.
Detectives believe the teen left the house earlier that evening, but it remains unclear who he returned with, if anyone.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
