In Peachtree City, Georgia, a man who tried to escape during a traffic stop has been caught by police. The incident unfolded on Wednesday night when officers pulled him over near Highway 74. Instead of cooperating, the man took off, sparking a citywide search.
The Peachtree City Police Department quickly alerted residents on social media, describing the runaway as a man with short hair and facial hair, dressed in a gray hoodie and dark shorts. They asked everyone to keep an eye out while they launched a full-scale effort to track him down.
With the help of K-9 units, drones, and patrol officers, the police were able to locate the man near Santolina Park. Thankfully, the arrest happened without any trouble.
The department later shared on Facebook how the situation ended, adding a bit of humor to the update by saying they were “starting off 2025 strong.”
Authorities have not yet revealed the man’s name or the charges he might face, but for now, the community can rest easy knowing the incident was resolved quickly and safely.
