A shocking incident unfolded in Kissimmee, Florida, when a woman allegedly stabbed a man multiple times over a dispute about a tip. The bizarre series of events took place at the Riviera Motel on East U.S. 192 and has left many in disbelief.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an emergency call at the motel on Sunday. They arrived to find a man suffering from several stab wounds. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital, where he is now recovering in stable condition.
The story began earlier that evening when the man ordered a pizza to his motel room. The delivery driver, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, dropped off the pizza, but things took a dark turn when she allegedly felt the tip she received was too small. Instead of letting it go, she returned to the man’s room later, this time with another man armed with a gun.
The pair reportedly forced their way into the motel room, where Alvelo is accused of stabbing the man repeatedly. After the violent attack, the two suspects stole some items from the room before fleeing the scene.
Deputies quickly identified Alvelo as the primary suspect and arrested her the next day. She now faces serious charges, including home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. She is being held without bond at the Osceola County Jail. Authorities are still searching for her male accomplice and have urged anyone with information to contact Crimeline at (800) 423-8477.
Details about the pizza restaurant where Alvelo worked have not been released, and the investigation is ongoing. Residents of Kissimmee remain shocked by the extreme turn of events over something as simple as a tip.
