It was a dramatic moment at the U.S. Capitol last Friday when Rep. Virginia Foxx, a MAGA supporter, reportedly took a tumble down the stairs just after the vote for House speaker.

According to ABC News, Foxx was seen holding her nose while bleeding and getting medical attention. Reporter John R. Parkinson shared that she appeared to have fallen on the marble stairs on the West side of the House.

The scene quickly cleared out, but an officer reassured the press that the congresswoman was doing okay—she was conscious and talking.

This incident follows a similar mishap involving Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi. Last month, during her international trip to Luxembourg and Belgium, Pelosi also took a fall on the stairs. She was later rushed to the hospital and underwent a hip replacement surgery after the unfortunate accident.
