Fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing the music mogul of terrifying and abusive behavior, including an incident where he allegedly dangled her over a 17th-floor balcony. The designer, who is seeking $10 million in damages, claims the ordeal left her emotionally scarred and physically shaken.
According to the lawsuit, the chilling balcony encounter happened in September 2016 at the apartment of Combs’ then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Bongolan says she and her girlfriend were staying over at Cassie’s place when Combs stormed in during the early morning hours. She alleges he approached her on the balcony, groped her against her will, and then lifted her onto the railing while shouting, “Do you know what the f— you did?”
Standing at just under five feet tall and weighing about 100 pounds, Bongolan says she struggled to resist but was easily overpowered. The terrifying situation ended when Cassie intervened, screaming at Combs to stop. Even then, he allegedly threw Bongolan onto the patio furniture before finally letting her go. She says she still has no idea what he believed she had done to provoke such rage.
The lawsuit goes beyond the balcony incident, accusing Combs of long-term abusive behavior. Bongolan, who began working with him on design projects, claims she experienced verbal and physical aggression in professional settings. In one disturbing instance, she says he forced her to take a drug she suspects was ecstasy. In another, he allegedly cornered her during a photo shoot and chillingly declared, “I’m the motherf—ing devil. You have no idea what I could do to you. I could kill you.”
Bongolan says she feared for her life, especially after hearing rumors of Combs’ past violent actions. She references Cassie’s claims of abuse during their relationship and notes the mysterious explosion of Kid Cudi’s car after he dated Cassie while she and Combs were separated. She even recalls whispers about Combs harming a rival’s dog, which fueled her belief that his threats were real.
The designer says the balcony incident confirmed her worst fears and left her with lasting trauma. The lawsuit describes her suffering as both physical and emotional, claiming that Combs’ actions have had a profound impact on her life.
In response, a representative for Combs denied the allegations, dismissing them as baseless. “Anyone can file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have,” the statement read. The rep added that Combs is confident the claims will not hold up in court.
This legal battle comes as Combs remains in custody, awaiting trial on unrelated charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty and has been denied bail multiple times. Authorities allege that Combs orchestrated elaborate “freak offs,” events involving coerced sexual performances.
Bongolan’s lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of her time working with Combs, alleging that what she thought would be a promising collaboration turned into a nightmare.
