In Easton, Maryland, police have arrested a man on serious charges, including rape and sexual assault, after an incident that took place last Saturday, December 21.It all began when officers received a call about an assault happening near the Easton Bypass and South Washington Street.
When they arrived, they spoke to a woman who shared a troubling story. She told them that earlier that morning, a man had picked her up and taken her to the Magnolia Meadows apartment complex, where she was sexually assaulted.
Thanks to the thorough work of the investigators, they were able to identify the suspect as Jason Marlon Rosser, a 45-year-old resident of Easton. The police quickly moved to search Rosser’s apartment and arrested him without any trouble.
Rosser now faces several serious charges, including:

- 2nd Degree Rape
- 3rd Degree Sex Offense
- 4th Degree Sex Offense
- 1st Degree Assault
- 2nd Degree Assault
- False Imprisonment
He is currently being held without bond at the Talbot County Detention Center while he awaits a bail review.
