Three people were hurt in a shooting on Tuesday night in West Pullman, a neighborhood on Chicago’s Far South Side.
The incident happened around 9:10 p.m. in the 300 block of East 116th Street. When police arrived, they found three people on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the torso and leg, while a 24-year-old man was wounded in the leg. A 44-year-old woman was also injured after being shot in the back.
Emergency responders quickly took the victims to nearby hospitals. The two men were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, while the woman was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Fortunately, all three victims are in good condition, according to police reports.
At this time, no arrests have been made. Authorities are investigating the shooting, and detectives from Area 2 are working to gather more information.
