A tragic incident unfolded in Largo, Florida, over the weekend, leaving a community shaken. On Saturday, a woman was fatally stabbed near 11th Avenue NW and 7th Street SW. The suspect, 38-year-old Cyrus Jenkins, was known to the victim, according to the Largo Police Department.
After an intense search, Jenkins was found on Sunday and taken into custody without any trouble. Police have since charged him with first-degree murder.
The heartbreaking scene unfolded when first responders arrived at the location. They immediately began life-saving efforts and rushed the woman to a nearby hospital. Despite their best attempts, she tragically passed away.
