A heartbreaking tragedy has rocked Scottsbluff, Nebraska, where a 15-year-old boy lost his life after being attacked late Monday night. The victim, Wyatt Reeb, was critically injured during an assault near 5th Avenue and East Overland, around 10:25 p.m. Sadly, Wyatt couldn’t recover from his injuries and passed away shortly after.
The Scottsbluff Police Department is leading the investigation, with help from the Nebraska State Patrol and the Gering Police Department. They are determined to get to the bottom of what happened and are asking the community for help.
Investigators are especially interested in any video footage from the area. If you were near 5th Avenue between 1200 and 1600 blocks or along East Overland between 1st and 7th Avenues, your footage could make a big difference in solving this case.
