A man was detained by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office on Friday evening after an argument turned violent outside a Dollar General store in San Miguel.
The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. on K Street, according to Tony Cipolla, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office.
Two men reportedly got into a fight, which ended with one of them getting a cut on his face.
The injured man was taken to Adventist Health Twin Cities hospital to get treated for the wound. Fortunately, the injury wasn’t life-threatening.
Sheriff’s deputies quickly began searching for the suspect and were able to track him down and detain him.
At this time, the suspect’s identity hasn’t been shared, Cipolla said in a statement.
The case is still under investigation, and no further details have been released.
