Texas law enforcement recently made a significant arrest when they pulled over a driver with “defective brake lamps” and discovered he was a suspected MS-13 gang member wanted for murder in El Salvador. Luis Manuel Hernandez Bonilla, 28, was taken into custody without incident by Lakeway Police officers during a routine patrol stop.
During the traffic stop, authorities realized Bonilla was on Interpol’s radar and was wanted by El Salvadoran law enforcement for his alleged involvement in a homicide. The Texas police handed Bonilla over to federal immigration officials, who transported him to the Boone County Jail in Burlington, Kentucky.
