A man from Texas has been arrested and charged with making child pornography, according to federal prosecutors. Christopher Lynn Driskill, 48, was on the FBI’s most-wanted list under the name “John Doe 49.” He is accused of producing child pornography from 2017 to 2024. The FBI managed to identify him on November 18th, and he was arrested on November 26th.
It all started when disturbing videos, showing a man abusing a young boy, were found on the dark web in July 2024. The FBI noticed tattoos on the man in the video, including words and numbers, like “DABBY” on his chest, “197x” on his left arm, “CAST NO STONES” on his left forearm, and a Texas flag tattoo on his right arm. This led the FBI to start their investigation.
In September, a woman who had once dated Driskill came forward, telling the Coleman Police that he had confessed to molesting a child while drunk. The police interviewed Driskill, but he denied the claims, saying his ex was just upset about their breakup. There wasn’t enough evidence at the time, so the case was closed.
However, the police had taken photos of Driskill during their interview, showing his tattoos. The FBI later compared these images to the ones in the child abuse videos. They noticed the tattoos matched, and the face in the photos seemed to be the same as the person in the videos. Using social media, they tracked the profile back to Driskill, who was living with his parents in Coleman, Texas.
By November, the Coleman Police had joined forces with the FBI, comparing the footage and confirming that it looked like Driskill. If he is convicted, Driskill could face up to 30 years in federal prison.
