Gwinnett County, Georgia – A quiet neighborhood in unincorporated Norcross was shaken by a tragic event on Creeldale Drive, where a woman was fatally shot inside a home. The Gwinnett County Police Department is now investigating the incident.
It all started with a 911 call around 7:05 p.m. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and found a woman with a gunshot wound. Sadly, she didn’t survive and was pronounced dead on the spot.
The Homicide Unit was called in to take over the investigation. According to police, several people were inside the house when the shooting happened. Right now, investigators are interviewing everyone who was there to piece together what led to the tragic event. One challenge they’re facing is a language barrier, as most of the witnesses only speak Spanish.
So far, no arrests have been made, and the authorities are still working to identify the person responsible. The victim, described as a woman in her 30s, has not yet been publicly named.
