Myrtle Beach, S.C. – A familiar face from 90s TV sitcoms recently found himself in trouble again, this time ringing in the New Year behind bars in Myrtle Beach.
Zachery Ty Bryan, best known for playing Brad Taylor, the oldest brother on the hit show Home Improvement, was arrested by Myrtle Beach police on New Year’s Day. Records show he’s facing a second-degree domestic violence charge.
After spending a few days in jail, Bryan posted a $10,000 bond and was released on Friday. Local authorities are still piecing together the details, and media is awaiting the incident report and arrest warrants to shed more light on what happened.
This isn’t the first time Bryan has had a run-in with the law. In 2024, he was arrested twice for DUI—once in February in La Quinta, California, and again in October in Custer County, Oklahoma.
Going back further, Bryan faced serious legal trouble in 2023, when he was arrested on charges of assault, robbery, and harassment linked to a domestic dispute. And in 2020, he made headlines for domestic violence after strangling a woman who would later become his fiancée. That incident resulted in a judge sentencing him to 36 months of bench probation and requiring him to complete a program called Bridges2Safety.
For now, the circumstances of Bryan’s latest arrest remain unclear, but updates are expected as more details come to light. Stay tuned for the latest developments in this ongoing story.
