In Rockdale County, Georgia, the community is rallying together to help find two missing men, and local authorities are asking for everyone’s assistance.
First, let’s talk about Bilal Muhammad. He’s a 19-year-old who has been missing since January 24. Bilal vanished after what appears to have been a mental health crisis. According to the Rockdale County Police Department, he disappeared from his job site that evening, around 9 p.m.
Bilal’s father, Abrahaman Muhammad, explained what happened that night. “We were working on a window project, and when we finished, he said he was going to sit in the car to warm up. About 15 minutes later, I went to the car, but he wasn’t there.”
The last sighting of Bilal was on Alexander Lake Road near New Lake Road, where he was seen running eastbound. He was wearing a gray hoodie and black pants with white stripes on the sides. His clothes might also have paint stains. Bilal is about 5’10” tall and weighs around 130 pounds. His family has been tirelessly searching for him since he went missing.
His loved ones are urging the public to help. “He matters, and he deserves everyone’s attention and care,” said Antwar Walker. Bilal’s aunt, Iffat Walker, added, “He may be in a medically fragile state, so please understand that he needs medical help.”
If you’ve seen Bilal or have any information about him, please contact the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office at 770-278-8000.

Shaquel is 5’10” tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has some distinct physical features, including a dent on the left side of his head from surgery, scratches on his face, a medical scar on his right wrist, and a lion head tattoo on his right arm. He has a history of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and may be experiencing psychosis.
At the time of his disappearance, Shaquel was wearing black jeans, a black T-shirt, black shoes, and a black jacket with brown sleeves. If you’ve seen him or have any leads, call 911 or the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office at 943-216-5168.
