Washington police are intensifying their efforts to locate Sofia Amaro, who was last seen on Tuesday morning. According to the Oroville-Tribune, concerns for her safety have escalated after she departed without her phone, computer, or dog, essentials she typically takes with her.
Her brother, Simon Amaro, shared that Sofia left a distressing note suggesting intentions to harm herself, which has led to an urgent search for her vehicle. The family suspects she may be driving a white Toyota Prius, identifiable by a dream catcher on the rearview mirror.
Sofia Amaro is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with black hair. The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that anyone with information about her whereabouts contact them at 509-422-7232.
