In Newton County, Georgia, the sheriff’s office is asking for help to find a missing man with special needs. They’ve issued a Mattie’s Call, which is Georgia’s emergency alert for missing elderly or disabled individuals.
The man, Quo “Q” Sumrell, was last seen leaving his home on River Cove Ridge in Covington early on the morning of December 21, around 7 a.m. According to deputies, he was wearing blue jeans, a plain gray zippered hoodie, and black slides. He is balding and wasn’t wearing a hat when he left.
Quo is 48 years old, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs around 195 pounds. His family and authorities are deeply concerned for his safety and are asking for the community’s help.
