In Plattsburgh, New York, a theft at a local store took a dramatic turn on Saturday afternoon. Police say three individuals—Brenden Mullee, Denise Mullee, and Chauna Maneeley—were caught working together to steal items from a store on Centre Drive.
Things escalated when an employee spotted them and decided to confront the trio. The employee followed them out to the parking lot, where the situation turned violent.
According to police, Brenden Mullee threw several punches at the employee in an attempt to escape. But it didn’t stop there.
Brenden then jumped into a car and drove it toward the employee. Thankfully, the employee managed to jump out of the way and wasn’t hurt.
All three suspects were later arrested, charged, and released. They are scheduled to appear in court in January to face the consequences of their actions.
This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers store employees face when trying to prevent theft. Fortunately, no one was injured this time.
