Middle Tennessee State football is gearing up to honor its seniors when they take on New Mexico State this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Floyd Stadium (the game will be on ESPN+). It’s been a tough season for the Blue Raiders (3-7, 2-4 Conference USA), especially after their hopes for a bowl game ended with a 37-17 loss to Liberty two weeks ago. They also had a bye week last week to regroup.
New Mexico State (2-8, 1-5) has had a rough stretch, losing three games in a row and eight of their last nine. Their only win during this slump came against Louisiana Tech, in a close 33-30 game. Last week, they took a big loss to Texas A&M, 38-3.
