Billie Jo St. Clair, a 44-year-old mother, has been missing for two weeks, and her family is desperately searching for answers. She was last seen on February 17 after leaving her daughters’ shared apartment.
Her daughters—Skyla, Savanna, and Syreniti—have been searching the city, hoping to find any clues about their mother’s disappearance. The day after Billie Jo left, she called Syreniti from an unknown number. This wasn’t unusual, as she often borrowed phones to contact her daughters. However, this call was different.
During their conversation, Syreniti noticed something strange. In the middle of their emotional talk, she heard a voice in the background say, “Are you almost done?” The voice was unclear, and she couldn’t tell if it belonged to a man or a woman. Billie Jo responded, “I’m talking to my daughter,” and then the call abruptly ended.
Since that call on February 18, Billie Jo has not contacted her daughters, which is extremely unusual for her. Even though she sometimes goes long periods without being home, she always keeps in touch—calling at least every other day, even from payphones or borrowed phones.
Her daughters are now asking the community to help find their mother. They believe she may be in the south or west sides of the city, as those are areas she frequently visits. They urge anyone who thinks they’ve seen Billie Jo to take a picture and share it with them.
Authorities are investigating, but so far, there have been no major leads. The family remains hopeful that someone has information that can help bring Billie Jo home safely.
If you have any information or think you’ve seen Billie Jo, please reach out to the family or local authorities immediately.
