CHICAGO – A tragic shooting Sunday night in Rogers Park has left one man dead and another in critical condition, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The shooting occurred around 9:46 p.m. in the 75-block of North Damen Avenue. Police discovered both victims, aged 31, outside with multiple gunshot wounds. One of the men was found with injuries to his neck and head. He was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The second victim sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and both legs. He was also transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

A witness reported seeing four male suspects fleeing the scene on foot. Area Three detectives are actively investigating the incident, though no arrests have been made at this time.
