The NWS Seattle/Tacoma warns of a significant threat to life and property, with heavy snowfall, hazardous travel conditions, and potential road closures anticipated. Those traveling through the affected areas should prepare for extreme winter conditions, reduced visibility, and icy roads.

Air Stagnation Advisory: Health Risks in Wenatchee

In addition to the storm warning, an Air Stagnation Advisory has been issued for the Wenatchee Area, effective until Friday at 4:00 AM PST. This advisory, issued by the NWS Spokane, indicates stagnant air that could trap pollutants near the surface, leading to deteriorating air quality.
